Health and Protection Consultant - Corporate

We are seeking an experienced and talented Healthcare & Protection Consultant / Senior Healthcare & Protection Consultant to join our Corporate consulting team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week from either the London or Chichester office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate.
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
  • Work collaboratively and pro‑actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans.
  • Identify business opportunities from your client portfolio and your own network.
  • Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA.
  • Work with your assigned support team to ensure delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards.

Qualifications

  • Financial and commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills).
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Previous Healthcare and/or Protection related experience.
  • Proven consulting and relationship management skills.
  • Good technical, product and process knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and time‑management skills.
