Health and Safety Advisor / Consultant

ICE Risk Management is an experienced health and safety consultancy supporting clients in the insurance, construction and event sectors. We provide bespoke solutions to help businesses manage health and safety, whether they are small contractors or large stadiums and arenas. Our extensive experience includes major projects and events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, ATP World Tour Tennis Finals and other iconic venues across the UK and beyond.

Role Summary

This full‑time hybrid position is located in Romford, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Health and Safety Advisor/Consultant will deliver health and safety support services, conduct accident investigations, deliver safety training and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. The role involves creating and implementing bespoke health and safety solutions for clients across insurance, construction and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety support services to clients in insurance, construction and events sectors.
• Conduct accident investigations and deliver safety training.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Create and implement bespoke health and safety solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with client teams and internal staff to deliver high‑quality services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health and safety and occupational health.
• Experience in accident investigation and safety training.
• Familiarity with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred NEBOSH or similar health and safety qualification.
• Experience in the insurance, construction or events sectors is a plus.
