Job Title: Part-Time HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Manager

Location: Several Construction Sites (UK-wide, but mostly London)

Hours: Part-Time (to be agreed)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple active construction sites in the UK, but mostly based in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, HSE guidelines, and company procedures.
• Develop and implement site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site teams.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Provide practical advice and support to site managers and project teams.
• Prepare monthly HSE performance reports for senior management.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and produce reports.

About You

• Strong knowledge of UK construction health & safety regulations (CDM 2015, Work at Height, etc.).
• Experience in a construction HSE management role, ideally across multiple sites.
• Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage site teams.
• Competent report writing and organisational skills.
