About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead health, safety and welfare across all Magna Vitae facilities, including leisure centres and the Theatre. You’ll advise Directors and Managers, manage risk assessments, inspections, audits, training, and incident investigations and help maintain a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, ensuring compliance with UK health & safety legislation, improving processes, and supporting a dedicated team that delivers outstanding services to the East Lindsey community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety management across all venues, ensuring best practice is implemented.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain health & safety policies, procedures, and corporate H&S manual.
• Deliver or coordinate mandatory H&S training and maintain staff training records.
• Produce performance reports for SLT and Trustees and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee statutory compliance, contractor RAMS, and permit-to-work processes.

Who We’re Looking For

• Health & Safety experience within leisure, hospitality, facilities, or events (minimum 2 years).
• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) and commitment to further professional development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply UK health & safety legislation and deliver training sessions.
• Confident, reliable, self‑motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards.
