Job Summary

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Business Partner to help us make a difference to our planet.

As our Health and Safety Business Partner, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home.This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.

Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week, but we would also consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and we will also try our best to consider those intending to work a jobshare. Our people are at the heart of what we do and we'll do our best toagreea working pattern that works for everyone. Please note the role holders will need to travel to multiple sites as part of the role.

Job Description

You will have a significant impact on the Met Office. Our Health and Safety Business Partner role will support and drive the long-term Health and Safety strategic improvement plan.

Working frequently on-site in this key role, you will provide impact across the Met Office and all 2,000 plus employees and contractors. You will influence the building of our health and safety culture and drive the improvement of our organisational health and safety risk management.
