Health & Safety Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our Backstage support team in Health & Safety.

Our Backstage support teams are essential to delivering services across all five of our venues - The NEC, bp pulse LIVE, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the ICC, and Vox. These teams include IT, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Safety, and Procurement, working collaboratively with frontline operational teams to create memorable moments for millions of visitors each year.

About The Role

This role provides administrative, operational, and compliance support to the Health & Safety team across NEC Group venues. You will support the operational delivery of health and safety systems, inspections, incident reporting, contractor management, and compliance monitoring.

No prior health and safety experience is required. We welcome individuals eager to learn and develop their skills, supporting the creation of safe environments for colleagues and visitors. A structured training and development plan, including formal qualifications and mentoring from experienced health and safety practitioners, will be provided.
