We’re looking for a Health & Safety Lead for Contract Partnerships to join our Asset Management & Safety Team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll oversee the health and safety aspects of our contractor relationships, ensuring services are delivered safely, competently, and in line with public sector standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and leading the procurement, mobilisation, and management of contracts
- Ensuring contractor competency, training, and safe systems of work
- Conducting site safety audits and investigating incidents
- Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and residents to embed a safety-first culture
- Managing the Contract Register and contributing to policy development
- Leading on accident/incident reporting and improvement planning
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in contractor management and health & safety
- Strong understanding of RAMS, CDM regulations, and procurement processes
- Background in social housing or similar public sector environments
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
