This is an exciting opportunity for a health and safety professional with a sound knowledge of health & safety requirements to join the Occupational Health & Safety Team at YHG.

It’s an exciting time to join the team, reporting to and supporting the Head of Health & Safety as we launch our updated health & safety plan and continue to refresh our health & safety training offer.

We are looking for someone who has a great understanding of health & safety legislation, cares about the health, safety, and wellbeing of people, is passionate about their work, and is creative to engage with people and make learning enjoyable.

What will my working week look like?

You will be home-based, ideally living within a reasonable distance of our Head Office in Warrington, where you will deliver most of our training and attend meetings.

What will I be responsible for?

You will be responsible for designing and delivering our health & safety training programme in an engaging and enjoyable way for colleagues to learn.

You will also contribute to developing our health & safety processes and procedures, support internal colleagues with health & safety queries, and act as an advocate for the Health & Safety team.
