We are looking for a Healthier Slough Engagement and Delivery Officer. Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to promote and support the delivery of the Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (IHWS) by:
- Delivering lifestyle behaviour change interventions to residents.
- Leading targeted engagement and outreach activities to reduce health inequalities among Slough’s priority groups.
- Participating in promotional events throughout Slough.
The successful candidate must have a clean driving licence and be willing to travel around Slough.

Job responsibilities
We are pleased to offer the role of Healthier Slough Engagement and Delivery Officer in Slough. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £28,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.

Person Specification
- Knowledge of a relevant field through education or experience
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Knowledge of behaviour change models
- Understanding of issues faced by socially disadvantaged communities
- Awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) impacts
- Knowledge of information governance and safeguarding policies
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing efficient, effective services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience reporting to commissioners and stakeholders
- Experience working in behaviour change and CVD prevention
- Experience working with clients with complex issues from diverse backgrounds

- Leadership experience as a team leader or manager
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Flexible working pattern adaptability
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel within West Berkshire
- Own vehicle for work use
