We invite you to join the Highway & Traffic Service as a Highway Planning Liaison Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to support the Croydon Network and construction traffic within the Growth Zone, promoting the borough's growth and revitalization of Croydon’s key areas.

The Highway Planning Liaison Officer will work alongside the Development Manager to negotiate and comment on Construction Logistic plans, manage budgets, implement traffic schemes, organize work schedules, and ensure permits are obtained for work on the public highway. You will also provide highway control comments on new developments within the London Borough of Croydon. Additionally, you will supervise scheme delivery, adhere to budgets and fee levels, and collaborate with relevant road user groups and TfL to develop assessment criteria and agree on appropriate measures on behalf of the council.
