Overview

Hoarding Project Support Officer — Grade 5, £29,540 up to £33,699 per annum pro rata plus essential car user allowance of £850 per annum. 37 hours per week, 18 month fixed term contract. Hybrid working: office, home and remote options. Based in Hinckley & Bosworth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a practical and pragmatic hoarding support service, including one-to-one interventions in homes to reduce clutter.
  • Promote the hoarding pathway and establish multi-agency links to develop the service.
  • Work as part of a small team to develop a toolkit of interventions and procedures to make the pathway easy to navigate for service users and professionals.
  • Work in cluttered environments regularly.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 4 or equivalent in social care, housing or environmental health, or significant relevant experience and in-house learning in related areas.

Requirements and context

Hybrid working model with a mix of office based, home and remote working. Contractual base is office based with flexibility to work from home or other locations in the borough.
