The Role

You’ll manage a mixed caseload of housing disrepair claims, advising clients through every stage of the process – from initial assessment to resolution.

Typical work includes:

  • Managing a varied housing disrepair caseload (litigated and pre‑litigated)
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of claim
  • Liaising with clients, experts, and counsel
  • Negotiating settlements and attending hearings when required
  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and internal processes

Who We’re Looking For

You will be a solicitor qualified in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE in housing disrepair or a related litigation area (e.g. civil litigation, landlord & tenant, property disputes) and will have:

  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Strong drafting and negotiation ability
  • A proactive, organised approach to case management
  • A genuine passion for access to justice and fair treatment for tenants

We are also open to hearing from solicitors with strong transferable skills from similar practice areas.
