Overview Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer – London Local Authority – Hybrid – Full Time Venn Group is working with a dynamic and forward-thinking local authority in London in their search for a Housing Litigation Lawyer with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour on a locum basis for an initial 3-month role. Details:
Job Title: Housing Lawyer (Anti-Social Behaviour) Hourly Rate: Up to £55 umbrella per hour (depending on experience) – flexible for the right candidate Length of Contract: 3 months initially with high possibility for further extension Working Pattern: Full-time – 36 hours per week Location: Local Authority in London Office Attendance: 1 day per week required – remote working considered
Responsibilities
Preparing and conducting legal proceedings relating to housing and tenancy enforcement Advising officers and stakeholders on housing litigation and anti-social behaviour matters Drafting and reviewing legal documents, notices, and court pleadings Working closely with housing officers, enforcement teams, and external stakeholders to deliver effective case outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
Strong knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour law within a local authority setting Experience managing a caseload of litigation matters, including possession claims and injunctions Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams Previous local government experience
