Working in the HPC and Storage team, you\'ll be the superhero managing and developing research systems and scientific compute services. You\'ll be working with a massive infrastructure boasting over 1,000 HPC clusters and petabytes of research data storage service. You\'ll also get to flex your brain muscles on design, systems integration, and implementation, gaining exposure to technology so advanced it might just be from the future. There\'s a flexible work environment that lets you work from home most of the time.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage HPC clusters, advanced storage solutions, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with researchers and IT professionals to facilitate industry-leading research efforts.
- Contribute to system design, integration, and deployment across a large-scale infrastructure.
- Engage with the team to understand and support evolving research needs and data workflows.
- Support a work-from-home-friendly environment and participate in ongoing efforts to improve operations and reliability.
Compensation & Location
- Permanent position | £100,000-120,000 per annum | London
- Software Engineer (early-stage Start-Up) | Permanent | £80,000 - 120,000 per annum | London
