We currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to join us as an HR Business Partner. If you think you can help us to continue to make our mark and bring something special to our fantastic team then we would love to hear from you.

The role is hybrid working with at least 1-2 days per week working from County Hall in Northallerton.

What you will be doing

Our HR Business Partners play a critical role in enabling the organisation to implement workforce changes and continuous improvement and challenge.

Our work is complex and interesting including organisation redesign, driving business performance through workforceplanning anddevelopment, supporting managers with their staff leadership approaches and workforce interventions in line with our People Strategy priorities. Challenging and supporting in equal measure, we enable our most important resource, our people, to thrive.

What you can bring

With an immediate portfolio of professional services within our Central Services and Resources Directorate, ideally we are looking for an existing HR Business Partner who is driven and who can comfortably operate at a strategic level, influencing senior managers and with a proven track record in change management.

The role is highly autonomous; you need a keen eye for spottingwhere and how we canadd value as a Service andbe innovative, flexibleand adaptable in your approach to support colleagues across the HR Service as required.

You will have a strong moral compass and put the customer at the heart of what you do.
