The Role:
As the HR Casework and Organisational Change Manager you will ensure high quality employee relations casework support to managers across Hampshire County Council. You will play a pivotal role in bringing two teams into one, defining and leading new ways of working and ensuring staff are supported in developing their skills and confidence to provide support to managers. You will take a lead in ensuring that digital solutions are fully explored and exploited within the team, and in developing quality assurance and continuous improvement processes across aspects of the team’s work.
You will be joining our friendly and welcoming team of HR professionals, passionate about the work they do to support managers and the organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the HR Casework and Organisational Change Team, supporting staff and ensuring their development and growth, creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive quality of service, supporting regular supervision, data capture and usage, quality assurance activity and lessons learned activity.
- Implement new approaches, ensuring the team are supported with any changes to processes, ways or working or emergent technologies where introduced.
- Act as the point of escalation for complex queries, providing professional advice, guidance and challenge as appropriate.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree level qualification and at least CIPD level 5, or significant experience bringing you to an equivalent level.
- Experience of leading a team and liaising with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong background in all aspects of employee relations and employment law and be confident in advising on the most complex and high risk issues.
- Strong leadership and management skills with ability to coach and develop team members through the change process in a positive and empowered way.
