About the role

Due to an internal move within the team, we have 12 month fixed term opportunity for an established HR Change Consultant to join NFU Mutual, where you’ll work in partnership with our Group Change teams and other business areas to support with the design and delivery of key change programmes driving the business understanding on how best to deliver organisational people change. You’ll be joining our 15-strong People Change Team during a time of growth and significant change. Quickly understanding the goals, we need to achieve within your projects and programmes, you’ll provide professional and commercially focused HR and people change business support.

Reporting to the HR Change Manager, you will provide a key HR change and projects consulting and partnering service to your stakeholders, including significant change management support, playing an integral role in translating our HR strategy to local level deliverables. You’ll be influencing business stakeholders on best practice, providing commercially intelligent advice on a range of topics including TUPE, and helping the business run effectively.

You will work closely with various teams across our Head Office to ensure there is a fair and consistent approach to all people related activities, building, and maintaining strong relationships with people managers and stakeholders in our Group Change teams supporting them to deliver on organisational change activities. You will confidently challenge, advise and influence stakeholders in relation to business change planning and delivery and will advise and guide people managers in the application of the Group’s people management principles. You will keep up to date with recent HR trends, issues and developments and utilise this information to provide the best guidance and support to your projects, programmes and business areas.

About you

You will bring a strong background in HR partnering or consultancy within a large commercial organisation, where you have partnered with or provided expert consultancy to specific business units and successfully delivered organisational change initiatives. Your experience in managing complex change projects, often involving multiple concurrent streams across a group, means you understand the broad impact of change and how to manage it effectively.

As a proven HR Change Partner or Consultant, you will have exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. You are confident navigating complex environments, building trust, and engaging with senior leaders to drive change forward.
