HR Consultant - Belfast - Hybrid Working

MCS is delighted to be partnering with a respected not-for-profit to recruit an experienced HR Consultant. Based in Belfast, this full-time, permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by providing high-quality HR support to organisations within the voluntary and community sector. You'll join a passionate, values-driven team committed to building a fair and equal society by strengthening and supporting better workplaces across Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR consultancy and employee relations (ER) support, including complex case management.
  • Advise on HR best practice, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Develop and review HR documentation such as job descriptions and policies.
  • Support clients with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare client proposals and maintain accurate records and service reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted HR partner.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities for service development.

The Ideal Candidate

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum).
  • Minimum of 3 years\' generalist HR experience.
  • Strong employee relations background, including case management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently.
