Role: HR Consultant - Permanent - Belfast

Job Overview

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a progressive and forward-thinking organisation to appoint an experienced HR Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert advice across employee relations, performance management, and organisational development, while also supporting HR operations and engagement initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Provide professional advice and guidance on HR policies, employee relations, organisational change, and performance management.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including creating and posting job adverts, advising on attraction strategies, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Contribute to staff development initiatives, helping to identify learning needs and support career progression.
  • Partner with external associates or agencies to ensure effective and high-quality HR service delivery.
  • Oversee HR administration, including the maintenance of employee databases and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on HR metrics and employee feedback to evaluate the impact of initiatives and support continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance employer branding and professional partnerships.

What you'll need

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and organisational development principles.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of technical proficiency in MS Office and digital HR platforms.
