Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm; additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. The People Team work with partners and senior Business Team leaders to support all aspects of our people’s careers, from recruitment to retirement. Role Overview

Our Business Team consists of approximately 1,900 people based throughout our global network of offices. As Global HR Lead for the Business Team, you will act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders across our global Business Team functions. You will support the Global Head of Talent Management to drive the people agenda, aligning HR strategy with business goals, and lead initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, talent development, and promote a collaborative culture. This role is pivotal in shaping a high-performance, inclusive, and agile workforce within a complex, matrixed professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Strategic Partnership
    • Serve as an advisor to Business Team leadership, working in close partnership with the global HR Business Partners who support each function.
    • Support the Global Head of Talent Management to translate business strategy into people priorities, ensuring alignment with global HR frameworks and transformation goals and promoting our ambition of being an employer of choice.
    • Support the Global Head of People Operations, Data, Systems and Transformation to drive the delivery of key annual processes across the Business Team.
  • Talent Management & Workforce Planning
    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development function to ensure the recruitment of skilled Business Team talent and the development of learning pathways for critical roles/skills.
    • Support the Global Business Chiefs and HR Business Partners with talent reviews and succession planning across the Business Team.
    • Work closely with the Business Team Global Chiefs to analyse the shape of their function to ensure it is right-sized for success.
  • Organizational Development & Change
    • Drive organizational design and change management initiatives, in close coordination with the Global Head of People Operations, Data, Systems and Transformation.
    • Support leaders in embedding agile ways of working and continuous improvement mindsets.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Development of global Business Team policies, in close collaboration with the HR Business Partners and Regional Heads of HR, providing support to senior leaders when interpreting policies.
    • Use HRIS and analytics to monitor trends, identify risks, and inform interventions.
    • Act as Business Team SME for core processes such as annual compensation and promotion reviews.

Person Specification

The Candidate

The job holder will have a high level of energy, drive and commerciality combined with the presence and credibility to deal with a discerning audience. They will be flexible and adaptable in their approach, in order to manage the needs of their clients who are across multiple time zones. They will demonstrate a collaborative style and will work as an effective team member who is able to build a network of credible relationships internally and externally.

Qualifications & Training

  • HR experience gained in a professional services or similar sector environment
  • Previous experience of working at a Senior HR Business Partner level and in a role that has had regional or global responsibility.
  • CIPD qualified
