About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support MAG’s employees across over 30 countries. This is a versatile, generalist operational HR role, focusing on supporting our programmes in the Asia Pacific Region. You will work with senior managers overseas, delivering high-quality HR services and advice across various legal frameworks. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll support remote stakeholders, guiding and coaching senior managers on employee relations, performance management, and change processes.

About you:

You will have proven experience in managing HR services and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues in an international context. While experience in a humanitarian organization is not required, you should have solid project and people management skills, knowledge of employment law, and the ability to interpret and apply it. Experience in line management, developing HR policies, and coaching HR professionals is also necessary. This fast-paced role demands initiative, proactiveness, and strong multi-tasking abilities. You should be a creative, flexible, and solution-focused HR professional aligned with MAG's goals.

*Candidates within 30 miles of Manchester, UK, are expected to attend the office at least two days per week.*
