An established seafood supplier, proudly serving fresh and frozen seafood to restaurants across London and the surrounding counties for over 30 years, is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a skilled HR Manager. As the business continues to grow and evolve, they are searching for a people-focused leader to help drive that growth from an HR perspective.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional or standalone HR Managers who thrive in agile environments and is ready to take ownership of the full HR function. You’ll play a critical role in delivering HR strategies that support their operational goals, enhance their workplace culture, and ensure legal compliance.
This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach and a passion for supporting people at every level of the organisation.

Your Duties Will Oversee:

- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Payroll Support
- Benefits Administration
- Policy Development
- Training and Development
- HR Administration

- Employee Engagement
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting both people and business objectives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Education/Qualifications:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5, or 7, or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree / MSC in Human Resources Management.
- Thorough understanding of UK employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Evidence of continued professional development in HR or leadership (desirable).
Experience:
- Proven experience in a Human Resources role, with at least 3-5 years in an HR Advisor or HR Manager capacity.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Track record of successfully managing recruitment cycles, onboarding, and induction programs.
- Experience with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and maintaining accurate employee data and records.
- Practical knowledge of administering employee benefits programs and supporting payroll processing.
- Previous experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning (desirable).
- Familiarity with immigration processes and sponsorship compliance (preferred).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Working at pace and ability to deliver in agile work environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Discreet and professional, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all HR matters.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Confident in providing guidance and coaching to Managers and employees on HR issues.
- Positive, approachable attitude with a passion for creating a healthy and inclusive work culture.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR systems or databases.
