Job Description
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Provide support for recruitment processes, including job postings and onboarding new hires.
- Handle payroll-related queries and liaise with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure accuracy.
- Advise managers on employment law and best HR practices.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions for staff as required.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee relations cases.
- Contribute to HR reporting and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Officer should have:
- Proven experience in HR, preferably within the retail industry.
- A solid understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Effective organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A professional HR qualification or equivalent is desirable.
