A busy and respected consultancy firm with a mission to create a world where an inclusive culture drives high performance in every workplace is looking for an HR Project Manager on an 8-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave (August-April, with possible extension or permanence).
This is a fully remote role (occasional travel required), offering a pro-rata salary of GBP 30,000 - GBP 35,000 per annum. What You'll Be Doing as HR Project Manager
You will oversee all workstreams, leading in setting up or optimizing management structures and processes to manage multiple projects from start to finish within a fast-paced environment. This includes managing team capacity, resourcing, and overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, timely and to a high standard.
Projects may include global cultural change programmes, Return on Inclusion audits, organisational design, training, or development programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, prioritising workstreams in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders to align work with client requirements, provide timely updates, and manage expectations professionally.
- Plan workloads, forecast team capacity, and allocate resources using established processes.
- Provide detailed reports and analysis to stakeholders, run stand-up meetings, and update team management on progress verbally and in writing.
- Maintain all projects within Asana, ensuring workflows are updated and accurate.
- Consider the global context of projects, ensuring content relevance across different countries.
- Collaborate with a small, multidisciplinary team to deliver projects.
- Evaluate project success and challenges to improve future projects.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and control measures.
What We're Looking For in a HR Project Manager
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within consultancy, HR, or professional services.
- Extensive experience managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Project Management qualification such as Prince2, Agile, or Waterfall.
- Strong organisational skills and HR project management experience.
- Proficiency with PM tools and Excel.
- Experience in data analysis, budget management, and financial oversight.
- Ability to develop and embed tracking tools, templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and adaptability to client needs.
