SRG are partnered with a global medical products and technologies company. Our client focuses on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care. We are seeking a HR Project Manager to join their Deeside team.

Overview

Reporting to Senior Manager, HR PMO and working closely with internal Payroll, HR Business Services and People Solutions Experience teams as required. The Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of projects across the organisation, including system implementations, updates and process improvement initiatives. This role requires an understanding of payroll operations, project management methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end projects including system implementations, vendor transitions, compliance upgrades, and process automation.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Support payroll project processes, compliance, and best practices.
  • Ensure payroll systems and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and People Solutions Experience to align payroll operations with organizational goals.
  • Act as primary point of contact for payroll project stakeholders; provide regular updates, reports and presentations to leadership.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and executive reporting (e.g., steerco reporting presentations).
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency; ensure compliance with labour laws and tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and resolving queries.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or project management experience.
  • Project Management certification (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, digital project management tools and Workday desirable.
  • At least 2-3 years in a project management role with a solid understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of global payroll processes and connections to HR systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Horizon) and familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations related to payroll.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
