Elevation Recruitment Groups HR Division are currently working with a leading engineering company who are looking for a HR Shared Services Team Leader to join their team in Leeds on a full‑time, permanent basis.

This role gives you the perfect mix of people leadership, process improvement and day‑to‑day HR delivery. As a HR Shared Services Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Producing contracts of employment and variation of terms letters for new and existing employees
• Dealing with high-volume HR queries from stakeholders across the business
• Coaching, developing and managing the performance of the team to create an environment of high performance and continuous improvement
• Driving automation, improving workflows and spotting opportunities to reduce admin and increase accuracy
• Acting as the go‑to for queries, escalations and operational problem‑solving within the shared service function
• Coordinating and supporting with Employee Relations and absence management issues

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience within a shared services setting
• Someone who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience in automation (spelling corrected) and process improvement
