Overview

Role: HR Specialist x 2 – 1 x Rewards Specialist & 1 x Benefits Specialist

Duration: 6 x Months (possibly 9 x months from the get go and very possible to extend contract or even move to permanent)

Location: Required to be in the office in Surrey ONCE per month, the rest is working remotely

Rate: Max pay rate is £500 per day but this will depend on experience

Experience covering Rewards/ Benefits in the USA is highly desirable, almost essential. Great overall international experience will possibly also be considered if the candidate ticks all of the other boxes.

Job purpose:

· The HR Specialists are responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality and consistent execution of HR Specialist Services whilst providing a highly positive employee experience.

· The HR Specialists will be responsible for the end-to-end employee life cycle in 50+ countries.

· The role will report to the HR specialist Team Lead and will work closely with the People Services team, across the broader HR function and directly with the business.

· The role is a SME contributor to the continuous improvement of how Astellas provides HR services to our managers and employees.

· The role will be the subject matter expert for key HR functional areas for example Reward; Benefits; Global Mobility; Job Evaluation etc and will manage end to end complex cases.

Responsibilities:

· Accountable for the delivery of end-to-end employee lifecycle services, with leadership and expertise in key areas around complex HR functional case management for example Cyclical HR activities; Benefits; Job Evaluation; Reward; Talent; Global Mobility; Systems.

· Accountable for ensuring advice given to managers, employees and external parties is of a high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer focused way.

· Drive continuous improvement and manage the impact of change on HR

· Provide knowledge and expertise for projects and initiatives where Workforce Services is a stakeholder providing input on how proposed solutions may impact the Workforce Services Team

· Build and maintain strong relationships with third parties, line managers, HR teams and employees whilst providing them with the highest level of service.

· Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.

· Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and process automation capabilities.

· Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

· Problem-Solving: Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions.

· Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.
