Overview
Venn Group are delighted to be partnered with a religious-based Charity to recruit a HR Systems & Payroll Partner on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid position that will support the HRIS system, assist with Payroll Admin and oversee HR Administration.
Base pay range

Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee data (e.g. starters, leavers, changes, pay updates)
- Process approved HR transactions, ensuring compliance and correct workflows
- Liaise with HRBPs, Admin Partners, and Talent to keep records up to date
- Conduct regular audits to fix errors, duplicates, or missing info
- Assist HRIS Manager with training, reports, testing, and upgrades
- Manage HR processes: contracts, offers, starters, leavers, probation, induction
- Ensure accurate employee records in CoreHR, meeting compliance standards
- Track DBS, right-to-work, and reference checks
- Prepare and validate payroll data for monthly submission
- Coordinate with HRBP and Payroll Manager on pay-related updates
- Handle routine payroll queries from staff and finance teams
- Assist with reconciliations, payslip checks, and compliance docs
- Identify and resolve pay anomalies quickly and carefully
- Support annual payroll cycle (P11Ds, P60s, audits)
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and data protection at all times
Qualifications
- Detail-driven HR/Payroll Administrator with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Experience with HRIS systems (Core HR)
- At least 3 years experience in a similar HR environment
- An understanding of Payroll Administration
- Experience with DBS, right-to-work, and reference checks
