Human Resources Administrator

First Point Group is recruiting for an Office & HR Administrator with 5 - 10 years of experience and CIPD Level 5 (current/working towards) on behalf of a small-to-medium sized London-based tech-for-good company. The successful candidate must have strong experience in office management / facilities management and HR administration. This role supports a technology company whose mission is to reduce carbon emissions to build a greener planet.

Based in London Bridge, this opportunity requires 3 days per week in the office.

PLEASE NOTE – sponsorship cannot be provided. Candidates must live in the UK with valid rights to work.

About the Role

  • Manage a wide range of administrative and HR-related tasks to ensure teams are supported and can work efficiently, including onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), oversee health & safety compliance, manage office facilities, and support broader compliance efforts.
  • Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in an office management role with HR administration responsibilities.
  • Show excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Act as a proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicate effectively to build cohesion across teams and deliver through others.
  • Have strong knowledge of HR legislation, regulations, and best practices, with the judgment to escalate when required.
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Background in Health & Safety monitoring and documentation.
  • Demonstrate empathy and calm decision-making in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with clear written and spoken English.
  • Experience with ISO standards.
  • Strong spreadsheet and data management skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
