Elevation HR is currently working with a growing Technology Business in Sheffield, which has an exciting new opportunity for a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of People, this role will drive the people and culture agenda within this SME, supporting the full employee lifecycle and developing and implementing projects around wellbeing, engagement, and communication.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

• Onboarding new starters, including preparing documents, coordinating inductions, and system setup
• Maintaining accurate employee files and records on the HRIS
• Supporting compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Supporting internal HR communications, announcements, and company updates
• Assisting with HR processes such as probation tracking, contract changes, reference checks, and offboarding
• Providing support to the People team including scheduling, reporting, and employee queries
• Supporting projects around benefits and wellbeing initiatives

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a start-up or SME and supporting the setup of a new HR function. CIPD qualification or working towards it is preferred. This role is perfect for a passionate HR Advisor eager to make a meaningful impact and contribute fresh ideas as a startup grows from the ground up.
