Overview

Oxford City Council is offering an exciting opportunity to drive and scale our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) strategy leveraging UiPath. You will be part of the Digital team in ICT, identifying automation opportunities, collaborating with service teams, and delivering intelligent solutions in support of services to customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, map process flows, design and build RPA processes, and implement them in a live production environment using UiPath.
• Identify automation opportunities, document business processes, and develop robust, scalable RPA solutions.
• Support the full automation lifecycle from process discovery and design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve service efficiency.
• Develop skills in solution architecture, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications and attributes

• Skilled and motivated UiPath RPA developer with experience of analysing business requirements, mapping process flows, designing and building RPA processes, and implementing them in live production environments.
• Experience working as part of a Digital/ ICT team in delivering automation solutions.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across the organisation to identify opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.

Type and Benefits

Contract: Permanent, Location: Oxford - Town Hall/Work from home (Hybrid). Salary: G7: £41,600 per annum full time (pro rata for part time). Benefits include 29 days holiday, LGPS, subsidised leisure membership, flex scheme (where appropriate), employee benefits scheme, post-probation pay increment. Basis: Full Time.
