Join to apply for the Implementation Specialist role at BD Job Description Summary As an Implementation Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installation and integration of products and services. You will work closely with customers to ensure smooth implementation, training, and maintenance while applying your technical expertise to support and optimize their systems. This position offers flexibility regarding your location – you can be based anywhere in England – and you will be expected to travel around 80% of your time across the whole of the UK and sometimes other European countries, with occasional overnight stay from time to time. You can work remotely when you are not with the customers. Install, configure and integrate hardware, software, and applications according to agreed project plans Conduct customer meetings and training sessions both on‑site and remotely Coordinate project phases in collaboration with the Project Management Office, ensuring timely and accurate execution Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to customers in the assigned region Perform hardware and software repairs on customer sites when required Document and report technical activities and outcomes with precision and attention to detail Maintain awareness of change processes and adapt effectively to evolving customer and business needs Communicate technical information clearly, ensuring understanding among customers and colleagues
About You
Background in IT or technical disciplines, with hands‑on experience in virtual platforms and networking systems Proven experience in project delivery using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Skilled in creating and maintaining accurate technical project documentation Strong problem‑solving ability with experience supporting proprietary and standard applications Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service Fluent in English; additional Scandinavian language skills are advantageous Holds a valid driving licence
