About The Job
The Income Officer (AR & Receipts) plays a key role in supporting Income & Credit Control operations, working collaboratively with all other finance teams, and includes but is not restricted to:
- Reconciling and posting income daily.
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial systems interfaces and prompt resolution of any issues to maintain data integrity.
- Assisting in the preparation of the university’s annual accounts and audit schedules.
- Performing assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations, posting manual journals related to incoming cash flows, adjustments and corrections.
- Assisting with debt collection calls to all customer types, as requested by Senior Income Officer(s).
- Assisting with student payment related queries at the enrolment center's during enrolment periods, and with responses to queries and formal complaints relating to payments.
About You
The role would suit an individual with recent experience in an income and credit control team within a HE environment, seeking a varied role in a very busy income and collections team.
