We’re now seeking an experienced and motivated Information Governance Lead to join our team and help us safeguard the information that underpins safe, effective healthcare. Lead and deliver IG strategies aligned with NHS and legal frameworks. Oversee key programmes including the Information Asset Register, DSPT, and Cyber Assessment Framework. Provide expert advice on national and local IG developments. Investigate and manage IG incidents, breaches, and risks. Deliver DPIAs and information sharing agreements with precision. Educate and train staff at all levels on IG responsibilities. Deputise for the Head of Information Governance / DPO when required. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to embed best practices. Provide leadership and line management responsibilities for other members of the team.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has in-depth knowledge of UK GDPR, NHS IG frameworks, and DSPT. Can lead complex IG programmes with confidence and clarity. Is a skilled communicator, able to engage diverse audiences. Thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. Resides within the Trust’s locality areas (Kent, Surrey, Sussex).
