Information Security Manager – FinTech Payments

A purpose-led, high-growth FinTech is on a mission to change the way cross-border payments flow through emerging markets. Backed by cutting-edge FX and payments technology, they enable funds to reach businesses, charities, and communities across the globe - faster, cheaper, and more securely.

They’re now seeking a Information Security Manager to take a leading role in shaping and strengthening their security posture. This is a rare opportunity to combine board-level influence with hands-on technical delivery in a fast-moving, regulated environment.

What you’ll do

• Partner with C-suite and project teams to embed security into every initiative.
• Lead penetration testing, vulnerability management, and application security.
• Drive risk assessments across change, third-party vendors, and new solutions.
• Support incident response, from investigation to remediation.
• Align policies and controls with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials and more.
• Champion security awareness and clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years in information security, ideally within financial services.
• CISSP (essential) and other relevant certifications a plus.
• Hands-on skills across AWS, DevSecOps, scripting, and security tooling.
• Strong application security knowledge (OWASP, SDLC, DevSecOps).
• Proven ability to balance strategy with delivery in a lean, agile environment.
