About the Organisation
We are supporting a membership organisation with a strong track record of innovation and impact, currently on an important journey to streamline and strengthen their internal technology systems. Over the past few years, multiple platforms and systems have been introduced, creating siloed processes, limited integration, and significant duplication.
About the Technology Solutions Architect role
The Technology Solutions Architect will take responsibility for reviewing, rationalising, and integrating the organisation’s portfolio of systems (including Salesforce and sector-specific CRMs), and ensuring their technology ecosystem is fit for purpose.
You will
- Lead a comprehensive review of existing systems, identifying overlaps, gaps, and opportunities to improve integration and data flows
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, translating technical issues into clear, accessible language.
- Ensure technology services deliver value for money by managing relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and suppliers, holding them accountable to SLAs.
- Develop clear architectural principles and frameworks to guide decision-making and future investments.
- Tackle technical debt and compliance issues (including cyber security risks), ensuring systems are robust, resilient, and well-documented.
- Support change management and adoption, enabling colleagues to get the most out of the technology available.
You’ll work closely with the Technology Manager (responsible for core IT, security, and helpdesk) and with colleagues across digital and data teams.
About You
They are looking for a confident and collaborative technology leader who can bring clarity and structure to a complex systems landscape. You will bring:
- Significant experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role within an in-house environment.
- Strong knowledge of systems integration, interoperability, and data architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and explain technical concepts simply.
- Experience managing MSPs and technology suppliers, ensuring accountability and value for money.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and other business-critical systems (CRM, hospitality/booking systems, etc.).
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, able to balance strategic oversight with practical delivery.
This role will suit someone who thrives on untangling complexity, enjoys shaping systems to better serve organisational needs, and can lead the organisation confidently through its next stage of digital and technology change.
Indicative Timeline
- Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
