IT Support Engineer – Legal Intelligence Organisation

Location: Hybrid (London, UK)

Contract Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

The organisation is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its internal IT team. The role involves front-line support for users across international offices and hands-on maintenance of hardware, systems, and network services. This is a broad and engaging position with exposure to both day-to-day support and project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support via calls and emails across UK, US, HK, India, and Australia.
• Log and manage support tickets, keeping users updated on progress and resolution.
• Assemble and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and related IT equipment.
• Conduct user onboarding and training on Microsoft and third-party tools.
• Ensure meeting rooms, desks, and pool equipment are fully functional.
• Maintain internal documentation with the IT team.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and escalate issues to senior technical staff as required.
• Contribute to IT projects in partnership with the Infrastructure Engineer and Head of IT.

Technical Skills & Systems Supported

• Microsoft 365 suite and Office 365 services (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams)
• Network cabling and basic printing support

Nice to Have Certifications:

• CompTIA A+, Network+
• Microsoft certifications (Windows or Microsoft 365)
• CCNA or equivalent

Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years' experience providing first-line support in a Windows environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and capable of managing priorities and working autonomously.
• Ability to engage confidently with staff at all levels across a fast-paced international business.
