On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS is seeking an Infrastructure Architect (Applications Transitioning) for a 6-month contract based in the bank's Edinburgh office, with a hybrid working model.

Tesco IMS deals with personal insurance services—from pet insurance for your best friend, home insurance for peace of mind, to motor insurance for your dream car or travel money for your trip. They work with heart, focusing on helping customers and caring for their people, with warmth and friendliness in everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure services from the ground up (greenfield projects).
• Lead transition and migration work, moving applications and systems from legacy platforms to modern environments.
• Ensure robust governance and alignment with industry standards.
• Contribute to cloud deployments (primarily AWS) and on-premise integration.
• Support projects related to telephony systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background in infrastructure design, transition, and assurance.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally financial services or insurance.
• Proven track record in greenfield and transition projects.
• Technical expertise in AWS (essential) and Azure (desirable).
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Desktop Services.
• Telephony systems experience (advantageous).
• Excellent stakeholder management and governance skills.
