Referment is partnering with a fast-growing financial services firm in London that is hiring a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join their high-performing tech team. This role offers the opportunity to gain deep exposure to modern infrastructure practices while supporting a global enterprise environment across on-prem and cloud platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deploying and supporting infrastructure across on-prem and Azure cloud environments
• Managing Windows and Linux servers, VMware, and container platforms such as Docker
• Automating tasks using PowerShell or Python and embracing Infrastructure-as-Code with tools like Terraform
• Acting as an escalation point for infrastructure support and resolving issues proactively
• Working closely with teams across DevOps, Compliance, and Development
• Creating clear and secure documentation for infrastructure systems

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of hands-on infrastructure or systems engineering experience (internships count)
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure, VMware, Terraform, Jenkins, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra, Docker
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python
• A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning
• A STEM degree; any financial services experience is a bonus
