Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver complex technology initiatives within a large banking environment. The role focuses on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and refresh activities across core platforms, ensuring compliance, stability, and security.

Location: Sheffield, UK (3days/Week Onsite)

Duration: 6Months +

Rate: 500GBP/Day inside IR35

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across servers, storage, networks, middleware, and databases.
• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in line with banking technology and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution with minimal business disruption.
• Oversee vendor management, procurement, and third-party resources.
• Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Provide clear project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience delivering infrastructure programmes within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record in patching, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of regulated environments and compliance-driven delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
