Org/Team/Role Overview:
Estate Management Service Delivery comprises sector-aligned Infrastructure Service Delivery (ISD) groups supporting Technology and Business areas (CTS, SMB/F). The Estate Management Service Delivery organization is responsible for service quality, application & CMDB hygiene, configuration management, infrastructure funding, and portfolio management. We focus on augmenting Citi’s strategic technology goals through prioritization and governance of core workflow processes via partnerships with application teams and foundational services to provide infrastructure fulfilment oversight, technology resource optimization, and promotion of strategic platforms.
FinOps overview:
FinOps is responsible for strategic financial management, planning, procurement, logistics, and identifying optimization opportunities for Citi's global technology infrastructure. FinOps ensures Citi's technology is resilient, scalable, aligned with business and regulatory requirements, and fiscally responsible from procurement through utilization, including cost management, capacity planning, resource and asset allocation, and operational efficiencies to support Citi's technology footprint. It provides business intelligence, reporting, and dashboard development to enable data-driven decision-making and operational effectiveness within the technology domain. By leveraging data analytics and automation, FinOps drives cost efficiency, innovation and security across Citi's technology landscape.
Job Description:
The Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst is an intermediate-level role assisting in managing relationships across multiple organizations. The focus is on optimizing technology infrastructure delivery and performance. Leveraging strong stakeholder management skills, the analyst collaborates globally with technology leaders and teams to enhance infrastructure products and services by leading projects and delivering results. This position also ensures process governance and drives continuous improvement by defining new solutions, standards, and strategic goals for application and business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Adopt a client-focused mindset to ensure client-approved delivery.
- Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, identifying solutions that align with organizational goals and promoting transparency in financials, service delivery, and operations.
- Communicate progress and updates on upcoming business changes, providing insights to senior clients on complex challenges.
- Engage with partners for direct feedback on service performance.
- Offer technical and strategic direction as an advisor.
- Lead projects across technical domains, business sectors, and functions, including scheduling, tracking progress, managing obstacles, and contingency planning.
- Adopt a holistic, systems-thinking approach: review data, apply methodologies for business process improvement, and design processes enabling remote leadership.
- Identify and monitor KPIs to assess performance, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
- Analyse factors impacting task completion, delivery, or customer satisfaction; implement controls to mitigate negative outcomes; identify risks (error, fraud) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead virtual teams, fostering connection, motivation, and productivity by establishing clear purpose, goals, roles, and structure; provide resources to remove obstacles.
- Identify key partners and their influence; implement effective communication and expectation management; balance stakeholder claims with fairness, cultural awareness, and ethics.
- Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi's reputation, clients, and assets; drive compliance with laws and regulations; adhere to Policy; escalate/manage/report control issues transparently.
- Communicate effectively across settings; draft messages, rehearse delivery, seek input, check understanding, and present information clearly.
Experience/Skills:
- Experience applying initiatives to improve portfolio experience.
- Well-rounded technical abilities, including infrastructure and applications development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills for stakeholder articulation.
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a team contributor; shares knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with ability to analyse and interpret data for stakeholder communication (reports, metrics, presentations).
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
- Influences and negotiates with senior leaders across functions to achieve objectives.
- Manages client expectations and focuses on business goal setting.
- Accountable for end results, ensuring procedure adherence and contributing to standards and strategic goals.
- Applies broad understanding across multiple client function areas.

- Experience in Financial Services or large/global environments is advantageous.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Project Plan, Excel and other analytical tools for executive reporting.
