As an In‑House Construction Solicitor based in South Yorkshire, you'll lead drafting and negotiations on construction and commercial contracts, bond documentation, warranties and initial litigation stages, supporting a top‑ten UK homebuilder.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting & negotiating construction and general commercial agreements
  • Advising stakeholders on NEC and JCT terms
  • Preparing and securing collateral warranties
  • Drafting, negotiating and completing bond documentation
  • Managing initial stages of litigious matters and instructing/managing external panel firms

Qualifications

  • A solicitor or equivalent with minimum 2 PQE in construction law
  • Experience of both contentious and non-contentious matters (ideal)
  • Well‑versed in NEC, JCT and bond documents
  • Confident managing external counsel and advising non‑legal stakeholders
