Canon UK is recruiting Digital Sales Executives to join a brand‑new Information Management Solutions (IMS) team based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team focused on delivering digital‑first customer engagement and sales.

Job Description

As a Digital Sales Executive, you will be responsible for engaging with public sector and commercial prospects and customers to promote Canon’s Information Management solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced, desk‑based environment using digital tools to connect with prospects, deliver product demonstrations, and convert leads into sales.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound IMS campaigns to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects and manage the pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
  • Achieve individual KPIs, including lead conversion and revenue targets.

Customer Engagement

  • Develop an expert understanding of Canon’s IMS portfolio and deliver tailored product/service demonstrations via Microsoft Teams.
  • Understand customer challenges and provide tailored responses around our IMS portfolio.
  • Respond to customer queries with professionalism and speed.
  • Seek out customer business automation needs and create compelling reasons for change.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Use dashboards to track personal performance and pipeline health.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Participate in team training and coaching sessions.
  • Share insights and feedback to improve team processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and develop within a rapidly changing market and technological environment.
  • Proven success in a sales or customer‑facing role selling to new and existing customers.
  • Exceptional sales & negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Salesforce).
  • Self‑motivated and target‑driven.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced B2B selling environment.
  • Preferred experience selling software IT & Business process owners.
  • High energy, ambitious, resilient, and driven, with a focus on personal KPIs and results.

Up to £27,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + £12,000 commission (OTE) = £39,000
