Insight & Analytics Senior Intelligence Business Partner | 8492 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £64,089 to £71,512 per annum (Scale N) | County Hall

Insight & Analytics (I&A) are recruiting for a Senior Intelligence Business Partner to provide close support to Children's Services leadership in ensuring that data and intelligence services meet agreed departmental strategic priorities and programmes.

This new role establishes an enhanced I&A presence both as senior support to Children's Services leadership, and as a core element of the Children's Services leadership team. Deliberately embedded in the leadership team with complementary service focused responsibilities, it has full understanding of Children's Services strategic objectives, plans and programmes, and provides proactive advice and guidance on the art of the possible provided by data and intelligence to ensure prioritised demands are met.

The role will straddle both I&A and Children's Services, and will require a deep understanding of both strategic and operational programmes and priorities. It will require an in-depth appreciation of, and ability to provide advice and guidance on I&A and broader data and intelligence capabilities to meet requirements. This is a crucial role in ensuring not only Children's Services, but the organisation as a whole are able to make the very best use of data and intelligence in making informed strategic and operational decisions, to ensure our programmes of work and associated services to the children of Norfolk are optimised and as efficient and as effective as possible.

The post holder will need to have proven experience, skills and comfort with working in a challenging senior leadership environment, with all the attributes that comes with. In particular the role will require the ability for advanced engagement and diplomacy, the ability to be robust, and negotiate with and influence senior stakeholders. It will require a willingness to challenge accepted wisdom in order to advance the understanding of data and intelligence, and have a working knowledge of the tools and technology that support this. As a relatively unique role straddling both I&A and Children's Services, these attributes will need to be applied in a balanced fashion in both environments.
