About the Team

This role forms a core part of the Business Partners team within the Customer Insight team, working to create, collate and compile complex and varied sources of data and research in order to inform key business decisions from a customer perspective. Our Business Partner roles are responsible for working with senior stakeholders, building close and collaborative relationships to act consultatively and ensure that the customer is at the heart of decision making.

The Role

In this role, you’ll build deep, strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders—taking the lead in understanding their goals and aligning insight resources where they’ll have the greatest impact. You’ll go beyond one-off projects, proactively anticipating needs and demonstrating how insight can unlock value across key business questions. As the champion of customer understanding in your area, you’ll bring rich perspectives on emotional needs, motivations and behaviours, drawing on the broader insight team to elevate thinking. You’ll lead best-in-class insight generation for long-term strategic initiatives, translating business questions into actionable programmes of work using a broad toolkit of methodologies. With a sharp external lens, you’ll bring competitive advantage through market, channel and consumer trends, and deliver expert reporting and measurement to support everyday decision-making. You’ll also empower stakeholder teams to self-serve through training and tool enablement, while acting as a role model across the function—raising the bar on quality, ROI, and future-proofing through innovation, strategic partnerships and capability building.

About You

In this role, you’ll be the trusted single point of contact for senior stakeholders—delivering impactful business partnering and working in a truly embedded, collaborative way. You’ll proactively anticipate needs, offering insight and consultancy before it’s even requested. With a strategic mindset and a hypothesis-led approach, you’ll break down complex problems and translate them into clear, actionable outcomes. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, confidently navigating contradictions and incomplete data to bring clarity to decision-making. Drawing on a broad toolkit of data and research methodologies, you’ll integrate insights from varied sources—internal and external—to drive meaningful outcomes. Your passion for championing the customer will shine through in your storytelling and commercial acumen, ensuring insights are not only engaging but also practical and commercially relevant. You’ll empower teams through self-serve tools, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and act as a creative agent of change. Pragmatism is key—you’ll balance cost, speed, and quality to deliver what the business needs, when it needs it.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven ability to build deep stakeholder relationships and influence decisions
  • Strong consultancy skills with experience in translating business questions into insight programmes
  • Solid understanding of customer data, feedback programmes and research methodologies
  • Ability to synthesise varied data sources and deliver commercially relevant insights
  • Experience in enabling assisted self-serve and embedding insight tools across teams
