We are looking for a quantitative researcher who has at least 3 years of agency-side experience, who is proactive and analytical with a working understanding of statistical techniques and advanced PowerPoint skills. A passion for shaping impactful strategies is essential.
This is an exciting role in a rapidly growing global Company.
We are agile and “all-hands-on-deck,” with close collaboration across teams in Australia, the Americas, and Africa.
The role involves working with global and Europe-centric clients, helping to develop creative research solutions that meet their information needs. You will support a range of industries and diverse business areas, including portfolio management, territory and platform development, strategic planning, customer experience, product development and evaluation, as well as brand & communications development and measurement.
This is a United Kingdom-based regional role. The bulk of your time will be working from home with regular in-office team catch-ups in London.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a research agenc y. (a must)
- A formal qualification in marketing, psychology, sociology, mathematics, business management, or a related discipline would be considered an advantage.
- Robust agency side experience - market research experience with a solid understanding of quantitative research processes (online/ mobile beneficial) and some knowledge of qualitative research (a plus).
- Fluent in English – is a must (additional European languages a benefit)
- Project management skills: hands-on end-to-end in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution and comprehensive delivery of results.
- Statistical analysis and data checking
- Reporting, storytelling, and presentation experience
- Digitally savvy – advanced PowerPoint skills (required), advanced Excel. Experience with SPSS or statistical programmes. working knowledge of dashboarding topics as Power BI, Tableau, Displayr etc (a strong advantage)
- Proactive communicator: a strong communicator with good presentation skills.
- Attention to detail must be strong.
- The ability to work within tight deadlines.
- A strong team player, with flexibility to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.
- Proactive problem-solver, but not afraid to ask for assistance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Reporting to the Client Service Director (Europe) , and a dotted line to the Head of Europe, your key roles and responsibilities would include:
RESEARCH DESIGN:
- Appraising client briefs together with other team members to understand client needs and business objectives.
- Providing input into the development of proposals.
- Designing and deploying tasks on our mobile platform.
- Collaborating with Scripters to ensure questionnaires function effectively in real-life scenarios. Overseeing script testing before field deployment (self or through line report(s)), to ensure an optimal consumer experience and eliminate errors.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Managing projects from the design phase through to fieldwork, data extraction, and reporting.
- Ensuring specific tasks are completed according to the project schedule and to budget.
- Proactive client communication.
- Highlighting any project management concerns with line management to ensure seamless client service.
- Managing research suppliers, such as field providers.
- Proactively overseeing quotes and costs for research tasks.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure the best project outcomes for MDI.
- Scheduling and participating in regular project planning and review meetings.
REPORTING & INSIGHTS DELIVERY:
- Collaborate with team members on all aspects of reporting, such as the analysis requirements, inputting and verifying chart data, and assisting with report commentary and summaries.
- Reporting, charting with strong visual aesthetics (advanced PowerPoint skills essential).
- Storytelling and presentation of results.
- Providing insight recommendations that align with the client’s research and business objectives.
- Creating client reports that deliver actionable insights and findings for each research project.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT, GROWTH AND ACQUISITION:
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and consistently exceeding expectations across all projects.
- Working with the Client Service Director to identify and secure new business opportunities within existing accounts (upsell/cross-sell) to support revenue growth through account expansion, based on current account size and client engagement levels.
