Our client, a busy and dynamic legal practice based in Leeds, is seeking to recruit an Insolvency Lawyer and is very open as to the exact level of experience. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad spectrum of insolvency matters, encompassing both corporate and personal insolvency, with a mix of contentious and non-contentious work. This position offers the opportunity to work with a strong client base of established insolvency practitioners, accountants, and other professionals within a vibrant and sociable team. The role is based in Leeds, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in insolvency law, demonstrating a proactive approach and excellent client contact skills. Depending on your level of experience candidates should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a busy department.

Responsibilities

  • Experience as a solicitor with a background in insolvency law
  • Range of PQE from NQ to approximately 15 years. If you are more senior it will be important to have contacts within the sector in the West Yorkshire region
  • Good understanding of both corporate and personal insolvency matters
  • Experience with contentious and non-contentious insolvency work - ideally
  • Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Interest in working with established insolvency practitioners, accountants, and professionals
