Integrated Out of Hours Senior Staff Nurse
An exciting development opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse within the Integrated Out of Hours Team. This is a permanent role.
The North and South Out of Hours service have recently integrated, providing out of hours community nursing cover across Stoke‑on‑Trent and Staffordshire. The service operates between 4 pm and 8.15 am, with two shifts: evening or nights. It is a great area to work if you are particularly looking for more flexible working.
Responsibilities
- Organise and lead shifts, implementing, evaluating, triaging, and managing the care for patients with complex needs within the community setting.
- Lead and develop as an authentic leader, establishing a culture of safe, quality care across the team.
- Collaborate with the wider leadership team and stay aware of local and national agendas.
- Demonstrate proactive, flexible, dynamic behaviour with excellent clinical and communication skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Band 6 Nurse registration and experience in community nursing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Commitment to embedding Trust values and behaviours, and to continuous professional development.
