Interaction Designer - FTC at Olive Jar Digital Contract type: 12-month fixed-term Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid) What You’ll Do

Design end-to-end user journeys for digital services, focusing on simplicity and accessibility. Use research insights, prototypes, and data to inform and iterate interaction designs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design artefacts to communicate ideas effectively. Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately. Ensure all designs meet WCAG accessibility standards and GDS Service Standard. Participate in usability testing and turn findings into actionable improvements. Advocate for user‑centred design principles within the team and with stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or similar role. Strong understanding of user‑centred design, accessibility, and usability principles. Skilled at creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns. Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with GDS design principles and service standards (desirable). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable iterating designs based on evidence and user feedback.
