Remote Asset Management Ltd (RAM) delivers innovative fleet management and field service solutions that help organisations optimise their operations. With over 2 million monthly platform logins and a rapidly expanding customer base across the UK and North America, we're at an exciting stage in our growth journey. The key services are Vehicle Tracking, Dash Cams, Job Management and Fleet Management all of which are supported by RAM's SaaS platform.

Following the acquisition of RAM by Klipboard, there is a requirement for an Integration Financial Controller, to help project manage the mapping and migration of RAM's financial systems and processes onto Klipboard's financial platform. The system integration will include transferring RAM's current General Ledger onto Klipboard's ERP, moving onto Klipboard's payment platforms and migrating RAM's data cube into the Group's data lake.

Each of these workstreams will have a Group sponsor who the Integration Financial Controller will work and coordinate with in bringing RAM seamlessly onto the Klipboard platform. As well as system integration, there will be the need to align all other end to end financial processes with Klipboard.

The role will be hybrid working 2 days in the Leeds office and some travel to the Group Head Office in Hungerford as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with each of the Workstream Sponsors in delivering the integration of RAM finance systems and processes onto Klipboard platforms.
  • Preparing all data files and process alignment to ensure accurate and timely set up and transfer to the Group platforms.
  • Maintain, improve, and help implement financial systems (e.g., ERP, project management tools)
  • Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and business units for systems changes and upgrades.
  • Provide user training and support for finance systems and tools.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly project reports for internal and C-Suite level stakeholders.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for projects and systems controls.
  • Provide strong support to the Senior Diligence and Integration Director.
  • Drive continual improvement in processes and ways of working within finance and across the business.
  • Support Financial Planning and Analysis team in execution of forecasts and budget processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • A fully qualified accountant (preferably ACA) with significant post-qualification industry experience.
  • A proven record of finance system integration, migration and change management.
  • Ability to implement and maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Highly analytical, inquisitive, and perceptive approach, with strong attention to detail
  • An approachable communicator with gravitas that will confidently interact with the Senior Leadership Team and other external parties.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to influence others for a positive business impact.
  • Drive, determination and resilience and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred or in progress.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in project accounting, financial systems, or management accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong Excel skills, comfortable working with and transforming large data volumes
